Brielle Smith, LPC

Brielle Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who earned her Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. She brings her background in sociology and philosophy, along with her experience as a former student-athlete, offering a unique blend of personal and professional perspective in supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults across diverse backgrounds.

Brielle became a therapist because she genuinely cares about people and believes that we are all working toward a fulfilling and meaningful life–whatever that looks like for each person. She recognizes that life can feel heavy and complex, especially when carrying stress, painful experiences, or patterns that feel hard to shift. She is passionate about being someone in your corner, helping you untangle what feels stuck and move forward with greater clarity, intention, and self-compassion.

Her approach to therapy is holistic, collaborative, and person-centered. Grounded in trauma-informed, identity-affirming, and neurodivergent-affirming frameworks, Brielle integrates evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, existential and psychodynamic. She works with teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, stress and burnout, ADHD, depression, trauma, identity exploration, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and life transitions, while tailoring therapy to each person’s unique needs and goals.

Brielle strives to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Her style blends professional depth with warmth, curiosity, and authenticity, offering a balance of practical tools and deeper exploration. She is here to support you in “doing the work” –whether that means healing, growing, setting boundaries, or exploring who you are and what you want– reminding you that support, connection, and growth are always within reach.
