Caroline Hall Callahan, LCSW

Caroline is a therapist who approaches her time, when working with clients, with warmth, patience, knowledge, and collaboration. She works to understand her clients, their life, and how they would like to see change happen.

Carline’s approach to therapy is rooted in psychodynamic theory, as well as influenced by relational, intersectional, and trauma theory. She is a social worker by training which means she will look for patterns and systems that are impacting her clients. During therapy, Caroline is informed by practices from CBT, DBT, ACT, and MI. She uses these practices so her clients have something tangible to take away from their sessions. Caroline has also been a yoga teacher for the last 2 years and brings in relevant teachings from yoga, especially breath work to her practices.

For the last 4 years, Caroline has been a true generalist, seeing anyone between the ages of 18 and 100. She believes in the power of therapy and in her ability to help anyone who sits down in front of her. She particularly enjoys working with young adults, parents, LGBTQIA folks, people with ASD, and older adults. Caroline finds it very rewarding to assist clients work through grief, find meaning in life, identity and relationship challenges, anxiety, PMDD, PPD and PPA, burnout, depression, and daily stress. Caroline would love the chance to meet you and hear about your life and imagine where it can go in our time together.
