Nora Einbender-Luks, LAPC
Nora (she/they) is an associate licensed professional counselor and provisionally registered art therapist in Pennsylvania. She earned her master’s degree in counseling and art therapy at Drexel University in 2024 and has worked in inpatient behavioral health and private practice settings.
Nora has worked with adults of all ages and has supported an array of clinical concerns. In her experience thus far she has helped people grappling with issues of anxiety, relationship conflict, self-esteem, trauma, familial abuse, and depression.
In session, she works collaboratively with the client and guides them towards changing old patterns and more effectively coping with distress. She has a calm, compassionate and inquisitive demeanor that presents itself in the form of empathetic listening, thoughtful question asking, and knowledge/resource sharing. When supporting people, she incorporates her values of anti-capitalism and anti-oppression into her practice and utilizes aspects of psychodynamic, relational, CBT and DBT theories to support individuals’ goals towards change. When useful, she will implement art therapy interventions to bolster the counseling process. Nora operates from a queer lived experience and aims to offer an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ people so that they may explore the subject of identity in a way that feels safe and empowering.
