Rashida Clover-Frazier, LBS, LSW

Rashida Clover-Frazier is a highly experienced licensed social worker (LSW) and licensed behavioral specialist (LBS) with over 26 years in the mental and behavioral health field. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, a Master of Science in Social Work, and a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies/Applied Behavioral Analysis. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology.

Rashida has dedicated her career to advocating for individuals, especially youth and young adults, particularly focusing on empowering minorities, marginalized communities and underserved families. Her clinical approach is grounded in trauma-informed cognitive behavior therapy and the common factors theoretical perspective. She emphasizes the importance of being trauma informed as well as the therapeutic relationship, client motivation, corrective experiences, insight, and self-efficacy for effective therapy.

Throughout her career, Rashida has held various roles, including Clinical Director of Intensive Behavioral Health Services, Behavioral Specialist, Outpatient Therapist, Staff Development Facilitator, and Clinical Trainer/FBA Specialist. She has worked with both children and adults in diverse settings such as human service agencies, hospitals, and nursing/residential facilities, supporting vulnerable individuals with a range of medical, physical, mental, and behavioral health disabilities.

Rashida’s mission is to continue serving her community and to equip emerging clinicians and leaders to work with diverse populations, especially those from vulnerable and underserved communities. She is committed to enhancing her expertise in assessment, intervention, consultation, research and evaluation, supervision, teaching, administration, and advocacy.

Rashida’s dedication to her field and her continuous pursuit of knowledge make her an invaluable asset to the communities she serves.
