Steven Wadden, LCSW
Steve Wadden is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Pennsylvania. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020 and has spent the past few years working with adults who are seeking treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and complex trauma. He draws from a range of therapeutic modalities in his work with clients, including CBT, person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic therapy.
Steve believes that a therapist's most important job is to create an accepting and affirming space where clients can freely explore their thoughts and feelings. He aims to provide his clients with the support and encouragement that they need to challenge themselves, to build on their existing insight by examining patterns of thinking and behavior that are no longer serving their best interests. As a therapist, Steve has experience working with adults of all ages who come from all different backgrounds and walks of life. Whether you are navigating a difficult life transition, coming to terms with unresolved issues from the past, or searching for the motivation to commit to making a positive change, Steve is dedicated to helping you along your path towards better mental health and wellbeing.
