Aaron Curtin, LSW

Aaron specializes in supporting individuals facing a wide range of mental health and substance use challenges, including individuals within the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities. Whether someone is exploring their identity, coping with depression or anxiety, managing a diagnosis like ADHD or personality pathology, or working through addiction, chronic relapse, and burnout, Aaron offers collaborative, affirming care.

Aaron’s therapeutic approach is warm, trauma-informed, and rooted in social justice. He draws from evidence-based and insight-oriented practices including Psychodynamic Therapy, Object Relations, Attachment-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He also incorporates a Whole Person Health perspective—considering the biological, social, behavioral, and environmental factors that shape mental health and overall well-being.

Therapy with Aaron begins with a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, after which he works collaboratively with patients to develop a personalized treatment plan centered around their unique goals and needs. His aim is to create a compassionate space where patients feel seen, respected, and supported—where healing is not only possible but deeply personal.

Aaron holds a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University, with a focus on Advanced Clinical Practice, and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Temple University. He is certified as both an Accredited Case Manager - Social Worker (ACM-SW) and an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP).
