Kate Keith, LCSW.
Kate is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with six years of experience in providing therapy and counseling services to individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds. Through her professional, educational, and personal experiences, Kate has developed a strong passion for supporting individuals in need as well as advocating for social justice. Additionally, Kate has served as a court advocate for individuals seeking protective orders, children in foster care, and has provided counseling services for survivors of domestic violence as well as providing therapy in private practice.
Kate earned her Master of Social Service from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research where she gained a solid foundation in clinical practice and developed a deep understanding of social and emotional factors that impact mental health. Kate has helped clients navigate a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment issues, ADHD, and substance abuse. She uses various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as psychoeducation, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Kate is dedicated to empowering her clients to make positive changes in their lives and achieve their goals. As a therapist, Kate is deeply invested in seeing clients transition from surviving to thriving. She believes in the power of therapy to promote healing and growth and is honored to be able to support individuals on their journey towards mental health and wellness.
