Linda Schubert, LCSW

Linda Schubert is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has worked with children, adolescents, parents and families for almost 30 years now and continues to love it. Linda is warm and authentic in her approach with individuals, and she enjoys meeting people where they are at, helping them deal with the “stuff” of their life that may need healing and improving.

Linda received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from St. Josephs’ University and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She has a wide range of professional experience in the Philadelphia area, working in the foster care, child welfare, public school, in-home and community mental health settings. Linda facilitates Parent Support groups and Children’s Psychoeducational groups emphasizing prevention of substance use and building genuine connections between parents and children.

Linda focuses on making the therapy session a friendly, comfortable environment where individuals can share and express themselves. Linda has a strengths-based approach, and she utilizes her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy to support her clients with such concerns as anxiety, depression, anger, stress, trauma, and relationship issues.
